About This Game
Specters of the Fallen City drops you into Vespera, a neon-drenched metropolis half-swallowed by the sea, where syndicate patrols control the rooftops and only the Specters move unseen. You play as a courier-turned-ghost, slipping across broken skylines to expose the conspiracy that turned the lights out.
Built over three years by our core action team, the game pairs precise stealth systems with flowing traversal: every rooftop is both a puzzle and an escape route. Play solo or bring a partner into the full two-player co-op campaign.
The Challenge
The city had to feel vertical, readable and alive at night — thousands of light sources without losing 60 frames per second on console. Our engineers rebuilt the lighting pipeline twice to get glowing rain, neon reflections and deep shadows running side by side.
Our Approach
We prototyped movement first: six months of pure traversal before a single enemy was placed. Once gliding across rooftops felt effortless, we designed patrols, alarms and gadgets around that flow, testing every district with speedrunners and stealth purists alike.
