About This Game

Skybound Pioneers is our love letter to slow afternoons: a hand-painted open sky of floating islands, trade winds and homemade airships. As a rookie courier, you chart delivery routes, befriend island folk and upgrade your ship plank by plank.

There is no fail state here — only weather, wonder and the gentle pull of the next horizon. It is the game our team plays with their own families, and it shows in every detail.

The Challenge

Cozy is deceptively hard: without combat or timers, every island had to earn its visit through character, craft and small surprises. We rewrote the quest structure three times until exploration itself felt rewarding.

Our Approach

Artists led this project. The sky, the islands and the seventy-odd islanders were painted before systems were locked, and design grew around what the art made us feel — routes that show off sunsets, deliveries that introduce neighbours.
